Trailer Life 2009

Our camping days started in 2000 when we bought this pop-up camper. Friends of ours convinced us to go to the trailer show at the IX center just to "look." Needless to say, we decided to buy. Allison turned one year old and we were off camping with friends. Jellystone was our favorite place to visit. We have great memories of our camping days in this pop-up. (garbage wars, smores and the famous clambake) Andrew came along in 2002 and the fun began. It took me several days to prepare our camping needs and fill the camper up. It was a pain for Darrin to hook this up to his truck. As the kids got older, we didn't camp as much.

Until... we bought the above...
In 2006, we decided to upgrade to a newer-used trailer. We currently are permenant campers at Wildwood Lakes Campground in Homerville, Ohio. We enjoy spending every weekend in April - October at our "getaway." Although at times we find this to be a money pit, we truly enjoy spending time with family and friends. Our next spending spree will be for a railing, carpeting and a hardside awning for the deck. What do we do all day long... we go fishing with the kids, swimming and listen to many of the bands they have. Darrin enjoys spending time on his new hammock while Beth enjoys reading on the deck. One activity we look forward to every year is the Clambake Halloween. Most of all, we enjoy quiet time away from our hectic lives.

Here are some pics of our camping fun-
